Janík reveals his jewels in Žilina
Janík first introduced the best of his life-long work at the end of last year in Berlin, Germany. The collection features his most successful prototype jewels, which have received prestigious international awards in the US, Japan, Denmark, Germany, Italy, and other places. The Slovak National Gallery currently owns three of the exhibited works and the liturgical object Golgotha belongs to the permanent exposition Contemporary Art and Craft of Slovakia in Zvolen Castle. Other examples of Janík's work can be found in private and company collections around the world. The artist has represented Slovakia at significant world exhibitions in 25 countries. His jewels are also present at the contemporary art jewellery exhibition running in the Polish cities of Legnica, Warsaw, and Krakow, and will later move to Marzee gallery in the Dutch city of Nijmegene.
